The C-SENSE Cow Collar is Milkline’s advanced wearable sensor designed to enhance digital herd management and improve decision-making on any dairy farm. Combining dairy health monitoring, milk production monitoring, heat detection and animal identification, C-SENSE transforms everyday operations into a fully connected, smart herd management environment.
Through seamless integration with DataFlow™ II herd management software, farmers gain a complete, real-time overview of each animal’s wellbeing—optimising productivity, reproduction, and overall herd health.

Features

C-SENSE continuously collects rumination, activity and behavioural data, providing early detection of metabolic disorders, heat stress and lactation-related issues. These insights allow farmers to intervene promptly and maintain high productivity.

Each C-SENSE tag ensures accurate ID at the milking parlour, selection gates, feeding stations and scales, supporting efficient workflow and precise milk production monitoring.

Using long-distance wireless communication, the collar transmits data every 20 minutes to DataFlow™ II, giving 24/7 visibility and actionable alerts.

By combining rumination and activity patterns, C-SENSE improves heat detection accuracy and provides reports on anestrus, irregular cycles, pregnancy probability and more—boosting reproductive efficiency.

The collar identifies cows suffering from high temperatures, enabling farmers to adjust cooling and feeding strategies to protect herd comfort and performance.

The ergonomic, weighted collar ensures proper sensor positioning without interfering with natural behaviour of the cows. C-SENSE is easily applicable, ensuring long-term value and reliable performances.

How the C-SENSE Monitoring System Works

Each animal wears a collar equipped with the C-SENSE tag. Wireless antennas collect data continuously and send it to DataFlow™ II—the central herd management software that analyses, stores and transforms data into alerts, graphs and detailed reports.
The software’s intuitive interface, available in multiple languages, ensures fast interpretation and simplified daily decision-making.
