The Foundations (1970s - 1980s)

1976 – The Origin

Dr. Daniele Ratti founds Milkline, focusing on adaptable milking components and innovative solutions.

1984 – Expansion

Opening of the current headquarters and acquisition of the first production and logistics hub.

1987 – Milestones

Design and installation of the very first Milkline-branded milking parlour.

Consolidation & Strategic Partnerships (1990s - 2000s)

1993 – Market Leadership

Partnership with horizont begins; Milkline consolidates its leadership in the Italian livestock distribution market.

1998 – Digital Integration

Launch of Milpro, the first proprietary system for integrated herd management.

2002 – Precision Farming Roots

Strategic partnership with SCR (now MSD) begins, integrating DataFlow™ II and HeatTime™ into the Milkline portfolio.

2007 – International Expansion

Launch of HeatTime Plug&Play and implementation of new go-to-market strategies in collaboration with leading European genetics groups.

2008 - Awards and achievements

Milpro P4C receives the silver medal for innovation in Frankfurt. Installation of the first Milkline rotary milking parlour.

Spin-off of the cow-monitoring branch with the creation of SCR Europe, redefining precision farming standards.

2015 – Milkit
