MilproP4C quarter milking system

Soc. Agr. Passini di Passini Franco, based in Spilamberto (MO), raises 250 dairy cows, 120 of which are in lactation.
For years the farm had struggled with mastitis that no intervention seemed able to solve. The family had worked on the milking routine, on feeding and on cubicle hygiene, with poor results. In January 2013 they chose to renovate their milking parlour with Milkline, the only company able to offer the quarter milking technology they were looking for.
Milkline upgraded the existing milking parlour with a complete system for quarter milking, milk metering and herd monitoring.

The MEL1000 milk meters measure each cow’s yield at every milking.
Dataflow II collects real-time data on each animal’s health, activity, rumination and production. The collars detect heats and monitor rumination.
