Parallel 14+14 milking parlour
A parallel 14+14 milking parlour was installed, a flexible solution classified among the best conventional milking systems.
Società Agricola Milanesi, based in Spino d’Adda (CR), is a historic farm in the Po Valley. Founded in 1937, it is today managed by the Milanesi family and counts over 260 dairy cows, 200 of which are in lactation, raised across approximately 100 hectares. The milk produced is destined for the transformation into Grana Padano DOP, a symbol of excellence of the region.
In recent years, the farm has embarked on a path of innovation, adopting state-of-the-art milking systems and digital tools for herd management. The goal: to improve productivity, reduce maintenance costs, and ensure maximum animal welfare. Before Milkline’s intervention, Milanesi faced several challenges in terms of both yield and production quality, with extraordinary maintenance interventions becoming a daily necessity.

To meet these requirements, Milkline developed a tailored project, combining advanced technology and optimisation of the available space.

“We decided to renovate our milking system because maintenance interventions were becoming too frequent and production quality was suffering. Milkline offered us a project that combined technology, efficiency and economic sustainability. Today we have complete control over the milking process and the herd: we monitor production, fertility and animal health with extreme precision. We are very satisfied with the choice we made.”
