Operating Principles

Main features:

Innovative milking with:

• independent pulsation per single quarter;

a real milking stop function per single quarter that prevents over-milking and liner collapse avoiding teat irritation and mastitis induction;

flow-controlled pulsation with automatic stimulation function;

mastitis detection alarm based on the measurement and evaluation of the electrical conductivity per single quarter. This considerably increases the ability to early detect a subclinical mastitis per single quarter, thus reducing the farm costs and increasing the animal welfare;
Complete milking data capture: milk yield, average milk flow, pick milk flow, milking time, ecc.

Alerts on low milk and kick-off with fast shut-off.

Control of the automatic cluster removal.

Accessible functionalities with many adjustable parameters, delays and options set by an infrared port and a proprietary software installed on a Palm© OS handheld.

Fully compatible with the advanced MilconHM Herd Management System for cow identification, automatic selection, activity and rumination detection and many other advanced features.



The milking unit





The milking unit is equipped with the patented dynamic flow separator: it keeps indipendent every single teat milk flow, meanwhile it makes a reliable measure of single quarter conductivity by its  built-in four conductivity cells.
The special deflector shape, together with its single quarters separating walls, prevents the typical turbulent milk flowing from the liners to the bowl and reduce the risk of “spray effect” between the single teats
High discharge speed due to the central cluster outlet.

The Milpro P4C gives the best milking with the use of Milkline Milpro silicon liners. The patented combination of teat cup, liner and special protections guarantees high resistance and long duration against kicks and falls.



The controller




Thanks to the features of the Servopulse  and  Dynamic P4C, the microcomputer is able to control the main milking functions by each quarter:
end of milking is detected by each quarter and the
   single pulsation channel of that quarter is automatically
   stopped avoiding “overmilking effect”;
mastitis detection is detected by each quarter and it is
   also possible  to set emergency milk stop in case of
   extreme cases to avoid whole milk contamination.






The pulsator




Electronic pulsator, with 4 independent pulsation channels together with the specially designed 4 lines new distributor, allows to play different kind of milking (front - rear, left - right).

Milkline’s solution for milking control and herd management provides a set of tools designed to help the daily tasks; both the herd manager and the operator in the milking pit can use different decisional information.
The new P4C hardware and software implement the efficency of the milking and collect more specific information.

Through the MilconHM Software it is possible the access the key herd information.

A complete set of consulting tools are provided by Milkline Technical Department and it is also possible to modify or create special reports and graphs.
